An introduction...
Casa do Pego is an amazing, luxurious house with a unique, clean architectural design where concrete, large glass windows and pine wood decks, shades and terrace blend perfectly.
THE HOUSE
The house has three bedrooms, of which one is the Master Suite (23 square meters) with a Queen-size bed, large closet area, two side tables and an ensuite bathroom including separate shower, hydro massage bathtub and hairdryer.
Two more bathrooms can be found in the social area, one of them with shower and hairdryer.
The other two bedrooms both have two single beds that can be put together as King-size beds (180x200cm). In these rooms, you also find side tables and floor lamps.
The large living room (61 square meters) has an iconic suspended gyro focus fireplace with two sofa areas on each side of the fireplace. One sofa (seats for 3) faces the living room and the TV area, whereas the second sofa (seats for 5) faces the interior courtyard and the amazing view of the front deck.
The kitchen (40 square meters) is fully equipped with Siemens Class-A top-end appliances and has a dining area with table for 8 facing the interior courtyard.
The Villa has one laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
OUTSIDE
The sunny terrace on top of the villa has a stunning private pool (30 square meters) that was built with a micro cement finish, giving it a unique look and feel. To ensure that it can be used all year round, the pool has a water heating system and to help keep water temperature as well as to ensure safety, it has an electric cover.
Certified staff will, on a weekly basis, verify the water quality.
The sunny pinewood terrace’s elevated position ensures maximum privacy.
The terrace, facing west, is an ideal place to sunbathe and relax, potentially in one of the four mattresses (removable resistant fabric for cleaning) placed on the terrace.
The deck in front of the villa, decorated with a sunburst tile panel by the Portuguese artist Querubim Lapa, offers a breath taking view.
As for the evenings, this is the perfect place to enjoy a beautiful sunset in one of the lounge chairs available on the deck, while listening to the ocean sounds.
The garden (800 square meters) surrounding Casa do Pego aims to merge with the territory in which the villa is located and so the garden paths
lead the way through native species such as pine trees and the garden is sculptured like a sand dune.
The interior courtyard (48 square meters) with its cork oak tree provides privacy, shade and space for relaxation.

The owners can provide rented bicycles directly delivered to the property as well as an amazing local cook that can prepare wonderful meals at the house for the guests (both at additional costs)

Booking conditions
Reservations are considered valid after receipt of a down payment of 25% of the total rental costs. The balance must be paid 6 weeks before the day of arrival
If your booking is made within 6 weeks before arrival, you are required to pay the full amount immediately. In case of cancellation more than 4 weeks before arrival 50% of the received down payment will be refunded. No refund will take place in case of cancellation within 6 weeks before arrival. We therefore recommend a comprehensive travel insurance

Deposit
A damage deposit of 500 euros is required. The deposit must be paid with the balance payment 6 weeks before arrival. Refund will be made on your account within 7 days after leaving the house.

Casa do Pego is located in one of the most exclusive places in Portugal, namely Comporta, on a five minute walking distance from Praia do Pego beachside, on the Alentejo coastline.
Praia do Pego has been chosen for several years as the best Portuguese beach for its clean waters, sand and accessibilities. Along the very long and beautiful sand line of Praia do Pego, you can enjoy great privacy as well as a wonderful meal at restaurant Sal, located on the beach.
